Heidi hadn't felt good all day and she thought if she went for a little swim in the pool that she would feel better. She had felt this way before, a couple months earlier She woke up the morning of a big test in school, feeling the same way... she decided to go anyway so she didn't miss the test. About half way through the class, Heidi got the most awful headache. She decided she had better excuse herself and go call her sister to come and get her from school. She was about half way across the room when she began to feel very light headed. The room started spinning and the next thing she knew she was in the first aid office. Anyway, Heidi was certain that this wouldn't be a repeat performance of that day - her Doctor couldn't find anything wrong with her anyway - he said it was probably just a virus.
Heidi began to worry when her headache started to get worse. All she had done was get her feet wet. She thought she better head home just in case it got any worse.
By the time that she made it back to her apartment, Heidi was beginning to feel even more light-headed and she got more worried by the minute. She decided to call her boyfriend, because he scolded her for not calling him the other time she got sick. Scott said he would be right over and told Heidi just to relax until he got there.
It was a struggle, but Heidi made it up the stairs to her bedroom. Just as she reached her the top of the stairs, dizziness began to overtake her and she fell unconscious, on her bed.
Scott arrived moments later and found Heidi, fainted on her bed. His plan all along was to get her medical attention - he wanted to take her to his Doctor - so they could find out what was really going on, but Heidi resisted - she liked her Doctor! Scott was determined to get to the bottom of this, so he lifted Heidi from the bed and carried his Sleeping Beauty to the car...
